Hi guys,
I'm opening this thread since it seems like has not been discussed here at least not for Vista.
Last night I was trying to get some gaming going on and while I was playing Battlestations Midway with some friends, my computer started to run very sluggish and my Ventrilo comms were all choppy. I Alt-Tabbed and found the audiodg.exe process taking almost 100% CPU.
Surfing the WEB it seems like many people have this issue.
Is there a way to solve this problem? I know X-fi cards drivers are having problems with Vista but many people I know are lucky with no problems running Vista. What I'm missing here...
My system specifications:
OS: Vista Ultimate 32
CPU: AMD 64 Opteron 175 Dual Core @ 2.8Ghz
GPU: 8800GTS
RAM: 2 Gigs
Sound Card: X-fi Xtreme Music
