Okay, I know how great the A900's are.. but my question is.. how are the A500's?

The A900's are a tad overbudget for me, so I'm looking at A500's. Anyone got these phones?
 
Yes I have them. They're exellent cans. They have an upfront soundstage (Great for gaming!), and they're pretty good all around. Uber comfortable. They work well without a headphone amp too.

I'm running htem off my audigy 2 zs, they sound great. They sound better powered out of my stereo reciever.

I highly suggest purcahsing these cans.

They're the best all around cans that are well suited for gaming, and with no amp in their price range. IMO

I got em from audiocubes.com.. straight from japan and the shipping was excellent.
 
i have the a900s, got them straight from japan ;) costed me about $150 shipped. Great cans.

Where did you get the A900's for $150 shipped? They are $195 retail at Audio-Cubes.
