I saw that the ATH-M40fs and ATH-PRO5V monitor headphones can be purchased for around 70 bucks. Are they any good?

Aren't they DJ models? I think A500 would work better if you need them for home use.

Well I guess I don't exactly know the difference. The A500's are also more expensive, what is the lowest they are going for at the moment?
Would it be a good choice to go used? (if that is possible)

I listened to about 4 pairs with the same song played from the beginning .
These sounded the best and are comfortable to wear.
