Audio splitting on 5.1 question ?

Is there anyway to split what sound comes out of certain speakers.

Example:
My center, front right, front left could be playing sound to a movie, while my two rear speakers could be playing a song. "Possible".

yes i left the subwoofer out.



Or Is this only possible when two sound cards are installed ?
