Audio setup suggestions for PS3 and PC?

Hey guys,

I recently bought a Dell 2407WFP-HC monitor, which I have both my PC and my PS3 connected to. Problem is, I don't have any speakers at the moment, so I can't enjoy 1080p movies :(.

I was wondering if you good people could suggest a good speaker setup that I could plug both my ps3 and my PC into. I'm running the PS3 via HDMI, so I could technically set the audio output of the PS3 through either optical or RCA jacks. My PC has an Audigy 2 soundcard.

I have a very small apartment, so I'm not sure that a 5.1 set would be all that useful, and I'm perfectly okay with 2.1. My budget is $100-150, I just want a setup capable of handling both ps3 output (via optical or RCA) and PC (via heaphone-jack style plugs, can't remember what they're called).

The logitech z-5500's are nice and can do this, except they're a tad too expensive ($260ish). Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Well, if you can find it, pick up a Creative DDTS-100 decoder, and route all your sound into that (PS3 on Optical and standard jacks for your PC). There's a headphone output on it, so you'll be able to hear the sound from your system.

A DDTS-100 would be great, exactly what I need. Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere but ebay, where its running for about 300 bucks, which is wayyy over my limit. Is there anything else similar?
