how would i go about taking audio from a program, i have a program i downloaded and i REALLY like the splash screen's music

can anyone help me plz?

I think this is the wrong forum for this, correct me if I am wrong.
Anyway, what is the name of the program?
Start by looking at the files located in the program's install directory.
 
o sorry, i figured it would go into the programming forum, sorry for that, as for ur suggestion,

its only a .exe file and nothing more.....have any idea?

There are programs that can record audio streams. For example, they can record music from online streaming videos.One of them is called Replay Music, though I do not know if it works for your purposes, you can try it

You could try an open source recording program like Audacity, change your recording device to "MP3/WAVE" or "What U Hear" and hit record in audacity as soon as the music starts playing
