Hey,

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right thread, if so sorry.

I'm trying to play audio files over SKYPE to other users is that possible?

Specifically -DJing live over my machine to someone else?

Why not just use shoutcast?

I don't think it will be easy to get this to work with Skype unless you just stick the mic up to the speaker...

ok, well I'm not limited to SKYPE.

I need someone to be able to listen to what I'm doing at my end in real time. Is that even possible? Know what I mean?

Shoutcast will do?

Shoutcast will let you stream music from your media player (not sure what it works with these days, used to be Winamp) or a mic. Streaming the live audio of whatever your soundcard is doing is a bit more difficult, at least on Windows. I don't know of a good way to do that other than looping the output back to the input.

if you are looking to just stream live video (w/audio ofc) , justin.tv ustream.com are some of the websites I use.
