Audio HQ not testing 5.1

I have Logitech z5300 5.1 speakers and a SB Live 5.1 sound card.

I'm trying to figure out why the AudioHQ utility (comes with SB Live5.1) won't correctly show my 5.1 speakers. It has a testing utility, it goes Front Right, Front Left, Center and so forth from each speaker in a female voice. I only get sound from the Front Right and Left speakers during that test. Yet I have all my connections right, I believe, as well as 5.1 speakers selected as my speaker type in Windows XP. Anything that I'm forgetting?

It's not that my center, back right and back left channels have no sound out of them any other time. They play music fine. I'm just pissed that the utility doesn't correctly show my 5.1 setup.

EDIT: Figured it out, close this please.

Why not tell us what was wrong?
It may help the next person that has the same problem. ;)

It was quite simple actually. I had been using splitters before because I didn't know my SB Live 5.1 had three inputs. Unplugged my splitters and used the sound card. haha.

Ya I know I'm a n00b.

i think you'd have to enable somethin gin the Creative control panel to enable the Live to output those ports as well... or maybe try using EAX?

Try to uninstall all creative drivers completely then start from the beginning. ok.
