audio controlled lights

how do i make a device that reacts to sound/noise/volume?

for example, my cathode is audio controlled, meaning when its on audio control, it flashes with the music from my speakers

can anyone find me a circuit plan or a guide for this?...i dont exactly know whats its called so i m not sure what to search for

first we need to know what you intend on usig it for, but im guessing this should work, maybe just hook it up to some device,

cool, how much are those?, when i clicked on it, it said out of stock so it didnt show the price
