My audigy 2 that is maybe 1 year old bit the bullet last night. All of the rear channels quit working. Not only that but it seems to have taken my tv tuner with it or vice versa. Anyone else had this problem happen? I was able to verify my speakers are still good z560's by using the integrated sound on my motherboard without issue. Is the integrated sound on a a8n sli deluxe any good. I think it sounds far worse but it may just be in my head as my friend thought BF2 sounded as good if not better. What is a good card to pick up. Im kinda sick of creatives bs with thier drivers and bloatware. Are there any other cards out that support true EAX?
 
sorry about that dude but i think it was a freak accident that your card died. Maybe your stuff was overheating and messed it up or something. Did you check your mobo for burn marks or anything. My buddies mobo died and it apparently it both burnt the mobo and the vid card with kinda sucked for him. I thinking more of a heat problem and not enough vent to cause such an accident, either that or you psu wasnt up to par with the stuff you had in your system.
 
Using antec super lanboy with 2 120 fans never had a heat problem ever. No burn marks and have a 480 watt power supply. Its all good forced me into replacing my piece of crap leadtek tv deluxe xp 2000, Picked up a hauppauge wintvpvr 150 and what a nice card. Nice remote and better software but still kinda crappy using wintv2000 and am trying the demo of snapstream "almost good". As far as my soundcard I may pick up another creative labs card. Is there any differance between a audigy 2 zs and a audigy 2 value? If so whats the differance?
