Because of my audio issues with ATI's newest versions of their Multimedia Center software and NVidia Soundstorm audio, I just scored a deal on an SB Audigy 2. One thing I didn't think about, though. My new Antec P160 case has front panel audio connections for speakers and microphone. My MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR mainboard has the connections for this, but is it possible to connect to an Audigy in the same way?

Audigy2 and Front Panel Audio

A lot of people would ... the problem is the header in question is not found on the older Retail cards and the live drive header is all digital stuffs.
Here is the pinouts for the little header I am talking about.
If all else fails you can always smack together something that plugs into the back of the card......... like the stuff FrontX sells.

Nope won't happen unless you have the small header near the top of the card by the bracket.
Of course modding makes anything possible,
I do have that header...now what?
