Audigy Platinum hangs at driver install... help!

I just did a complete reformat of my system and when I attempt to install the latest Audigy Platinum drivers off the creative site the install program locks up my system. My floppy disk drive light turns on for some reason and I have to unplug the system to restart it, can't even ctrl-alt-delete. Any ideas?

think u have to use the cd to install then update off creative site....cant remember been a while since ive formatted...erm also try manually downloading the updates u need...the auto update thing screws up sumtimes
