Audigy MP3+ Problems

Hey guys, I've had a Soundlbaster Audigy MP3+ with Logitech Z-540 speakers for over two years now with no hiccups except an annoyance with the Audigy card muting itself. But recently my cheap-o powersupply fried and now my soundcard doesn't work at all. This has happened before due to driver issues, but I eventually resolved them with reinstallation. I've tried to reinstall the card several times with fresh driver installations but to no avail. Is it possible that my power supply fried my soundcard? Nothing else in the system was damaged when it went up in smoke. But I am beginning to think this is a possibility. Should I go out and buy a new sound card and try to see if it works? Or do you guys have any recommendations for solving this problem? By the way, the Creative diagnostics software that analyzes hardware problems does not detect the card, but Windows does, and whenever a sound is supposed to be playing the motherboard beeps. Thanks for your help!

Have you tried to move the card to a different pci slot?

Yes I have tried a different PCI slot and it still gives me the same problems. Any ideas anyone?

Well it turns out that the power supply did, in fact, fry the soundcard and the speakers. So I went out and got it all replaced. Thanks for the help anyway!
