ok, ill try to explain this as thoroughly as possible and after that any possible suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have a creative soundblaster audigy ls soundcard, altec lansing AHS 502M headset, counter-strike, and ventrilo. if i am connected to ventrilo, then i start counter strike, and try to talk in ventrilo my microphone makes a terrible screaching loud noise for everyone to hear. sometimes it goes away if i exit ventrilo and restart it again but other times i have to restart counter strike or even my entire computer. what could be causing this?
