Get constant crackaling sounds from it. Used to use Soundstorm...

Anyways, I the only way to remedy it is to drop the khz to 22 and sound quality to medium. Is there possibly a fix or a better sound card to use? I have pretty much tried everything, acceleartion is at basic too :(

I get the same thing...crackling in my Sound Storm. I believe it is a known driver issue. Have you tried older drivers in your Sound Storm or your current sound card? I think EA suggests that you set the KHz to 22 for BF for some reason. I am sorry I was no help. I will be checking back to see if there is a solution.

nah i never had problems with the Soundstorm, mine is with Audigy LS
