audigy echo problem

ive had my audigy for a while and the echo in my music is driving me a crazy, does anyone know how to fix this problem? thanks
 
You must have EAX effects enabled for music playback. Or, if you are using multi-channel speakers to playback stereo content, you might get "echos" if you are using CMSS2 rather than CMSS1 (CMSS is also controlled from the EAX configuration panel).
 
i ment to add i dont have effects enabled and i have my speakers setting to headphones yet im still getting it
 
i uninstalled all the drivers and software and used just a new driver and its setup to headphones and it still echos, it has a echo on all the speakers settings but headphones it isnt as bad. im gonna be getting a new motherboard in a few days so ill have to reinstalling windows and i hope it fixes all the echos. thanks for all the help
