I've decided to sell my high end audio setup because I want the money more than I want the fidelity. I figure that as long as I'm stepping down, I might as will get rid of my Revo and get something that does better in games; I've never really appreciated making that sacrifice, but stuck with it because my speakers justified it. Just to be sure I'm not screwing something up, I had a few questions that I wanted to ask:

-Hardware-wise, are the Audigy 2 ZS OEM, Retail, and Gamer all the same card? I'd really rather pay the OEM price but I don't want to get cheated of any performance.

-Related to the first, but just to clarify: the difference between the Retail and Gamer is just the packaged games?

-Do all of the aforementioned cards have a regular optical output that can be read by any normal receiver?

Thanks in advance; I know some of the questions might seem stupid but I did do some research and can't tell.

So then digital output to non-Creative speakers just isn't possible? Sorry, I just want to be really sure because my receiver is a bit crappy as far as analog inputs go. It just sounds so much better using the digital ins (has something to do with the digital amps).

Nope, they do indeed have a coax SPDIF jack masquerading as a minijack.
Grab an adapter and away you go.
