What are some useless processes started up by Creative that I should get rid of?
 
All I have are the driver's installed...no other software from them is necessary for it to work (only if you want some of the extra features)... :)

Unless someone else can name an equalizer program that utilizes the Aud2ZS hardware, I think it's worth keeping the Creative EQ installed. But then anyone who wants it to launch at start up has to manually add a shortcut to Startup anyway. The rest of the apps are pretty useless ;)
 
None of them are needed to start up with Windows. If you need to run one of the applications, you can start it then.

Run msconfig, go in the Start tab and uncheck any/all of the items there.
