I've had Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Theater 5.1 DTT2500 Digital speakers coupled with a Sound Blaster Live Value card for about 5 years now. I recently got an Audigy 2 ZS. I know these speakers are old, but I'm not getting 5.1 sound with them. Whenever I do the speaker tests in the control panel, I only get sound out the right front right/left channels. DVD audio also doesn't play. The speakers are connected with digital outputs. Am I doing something wrong or is it time for some new speakers?

If they worked with the Live! they should have no problem working with the Audigy 2. The speakers use Creative's Digital DIN connection right?

DVD-Audio discs won't play over the digital connection, you need analog for that. The audio from DVD-Video should play fine over digital though.

I'm set at 5.1, all my setttings should be correct. How do I connect analog?
