I lost my CD and i need to reinstall the Audigy 2 drivers on my computer but the Creative website only has driver patches and updates so i need the full drivers. if anyone has them or a way to get them please help!

Usually you can install the driver updates anyway. It just skips all the utilities and bloatware. You can configure the speakers using the control panel.

naw see cuz i dont have any drivers on my machine right now for the audigy 2 so the driver updates say they dont recognize any audigy 2 drivers so they quit. it sucks :(. i really need those drivers.

thanks but that site is huge mess of stuff and i couldent find the A2 drivers. anywhere else i can go?

if all else fails...im sure someone could make an ISO of there disc and send it to you. I would but i am kinsa swamped at the moment. Let me know if you dont find it and I will see what i can do.

I have the Audigy 2 ZS Drivers with the modified WMD drivers to be installed on your A2.

edit: fuck it's huge lol.

awesome duck bot you think you could email me with the file or send it some way? also what do u think about the new creative speakers? they say they are better than klipsch in some reviews.

I can send it while I'm sleeping over AIM or something.

Two different *.rar files, one containing the actual setup files (about 371 megabytes) and one containing the fix for the WDM drivers (<1mb)

sounds like we could do that but what does the fix for the WDM do and why do i need it?

Well the creator of the modified WDM drivers were fuxed before so he sent me a fix for it and works great.

oh ok. so do you think you could send it in the day time sometime since this comp is off at night?

There are active links for the FIXED cd Duck has in this 3DSS forum thread. ;)
Page 17 btw.
If you have a OEM card don't even bother downloading these or the Compaq drivers.... cause they aint gonna work

cool but how do i install them?

It is the Audigy2 ZS driver cd.... you can either burn it to disk or just run the installer from the Audio/Setup folder

http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/

select sound blaster > 24 bit > sound blaster audigy 2

select your OS, your language and file type "driver"

download this:

EAX 4.0 ADVANCED HD Driver Update for Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2/Audigy 2 ZS

AND

EAX 4.0 ADVANCED HD Driver Patch Update for Sound Blaster Audigy 2 and Audigy 2 ZS

install the driver update first and then the driver patch update.

true the first one works but it doesnt add all the programs and setting manngers the disc has.

It doesn't work. Unless you call random reboots during games working. It's NOT the complete driver package. It's an update.
