Hey

I just recently went out and brought my self a new subwoofer and an audigy 2 zs thinking i was going to be able to plug it into to my amp and get 5.1 surround sound. Atm i am taking the front left cable out from my audio card and spliting it into left and right RCA to plug into the analog in on my amp and and the same with the Center and Sub. Throught a process of elimination i found out wiht was the sub channel and withc was the center channel, i also pluged them into the appropriate ports on the amp. When i am to test the speakers all the speakers come up as the should except for the subwoofer and when i play music i get nothing. When i go into the thx console of my sound card and go to calibration and tick the box in the right hand coner (enable calibiration test noise) and tab between the speakers, and when it comes to the sub the sub will work and quite well. So that means i have the amp pluged in right it must be the sound card. Does any one know who to over come this, or have i just wasted 500 on new equipment.
