I need the AT pinout schematics(the P8 and P9 connectors), it was not in the FAQ.
What I want to do is adapt an ATX psu for an AT system, dont know if that is possible(I live in a small country and the demand for AT psu's is non-existant so all retailers stop importing them).

I suppose it's possible, but getting parts for an old AT system's gonna get more and more expensive as time goes on. I'd suggest saving some money for an upgrade sometime in the future.

I think I have my old 386 big honking tower around somewhere, PSU probally doesn't work anymore though.

Once you get your hands on the AT-style connectors (P8 and P9), get rid of the ATX-connector on the PSU and wire the AT-connectors following this layout:

http://www.hardwarebook.net/connector/pc/motherboardpower.html

Then put a (non-momentary) switch between the green and a black (ground) wire. The moment you turn on this switch, the PSU will power on.

thanks guys my Pentium 75mhz is now up and runinng on an ATX 400watt sparkle PSU.
...What is that you say, the PSU is worth more than the computer?
yeah but I had the 2 laying around so I just had to do something.
