I guess you may wondering why I'm asking about this. Well the answer is because I have an AT system that I want to try to bring back to life. I plan on trying to mod a cheap ATX case to make it fit with the AT board and I can't seem to find a new AT power supply for a reasonable price. I do have a few ATX supplies that aren't in use so I figured i'd try one of these adapters / converters.

I googled around for a bit and found this. https://www.censuspc.com/ATX-to-AT-Adapter-20pin-ATX-connector-to-P8-P9-AT-connectors-With-out-Power-Switch-SKU-POWER-ATX-TO-AT-pr-4257.html

Does anyone have any experience with doing this? Can it be done?

It should work.. I doubt they would be selling it if it didn't.

Anyhow... I bet you could probably find a FREE AT power supply on craigslist.

Well I lucked out a friend of mine had one laying around. Thanks for the offers guys.
On another question does anyone know of a toggle switch thats compatible with an AT power supply?

Something similar to this?

I just need something to switch it on and off. Nothing fancy

The switch on the AT supply doesn't line up correctly with the existing button the front of the case. If I can find one that would work with an AT power supply it would make it 10 times easier for me to remount the switch. Drill a hole slip it in and screw it on. Otherwise id have to try to fabricate something on my own.

Any electronics parts store should have one...

Or better yet... find an old AT case and gank the switch.

I always used to remove the switch with the power supply.

I prolly have 10 or so AT switched back at my parents house...
