I've noticed that over the years, Graphics Cards look cooler, but at the same time while cases have changed a lot but they still mount the MB Vertically and Graphics Card Horizontally.

I've been looking for a case which is Windowed, (to admire my Graphics Card). but large enough to hold and ATX or E-ATX Motherboard. with and 5 1/4 External Drive bay....which is stylish.

Is there a reason why Case manufactures no longer make cases like this??

Cheers.

According to newegg (punching in EATX only, and external with window) I got 57 results. Some look very nice, so...I'm not sure what your actually looking for.

If your looking for an ATX case that has a window that is newer and "sexy" my personal favorite right now is the Corsair 600C.

Just came out. Very sexy, but limited airflow like a lot of designer cases these days. Interior will get a little warm. Probably best used with a full custom loop.

In Win 509

As for mounting video cards so the fans are visible through the side, look into "right side" or "reverse" PCI-E riser cards. You'll need a way to get the I/O ports out the back and to secure it, though. You're also going to need to support the weight of the card somehow. This is an emerging trend in case design, though, you just have to go looking. The Thermaltake View 27 is an example that has it integrated, but again this case has pretty poor airflow.

It sounds like you want a horizontal or cube ATX case? They're not that popular because they take up a fuckton of room on your desk (ATX does, at least) and are more seen as a HTPC application.

Go look at the Caselabs Bullet line if you want horizontal or the couple mentioned above. Lian Li has a few, as does Thermaltake.

p3/p5/view 27, genome, pc-06/05 or the [H]way
get a dremel and a riser and any case can have it!

For ATX boards there's the MountainMods H2gO. Here's one I built earlier this year. Great cases for air or water cooling and they look nice. The Sapphire R9 290 just fits without touching the window.

For E-ATX boards they have larger cube cases with a horizontal mount option. They're pricey. I've had an anodized black Ascension + Pedestal for about 5 years and I love it.
