i am thinking of buying the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe. on zipzoomfly there is a note saying it requires an atx 2.0 psu. i've been out of the loop for awhile now, the last time i bought a psu was three years ago with my Antect TruePower 550. i am assuming i will need a new psu, the truepower 2.0, perhaps. i'd rather not spend the money on a new psu though, so can someone confirm that i actually need to? thanks.

The old-school TruePower 550 won't have enough amperage on the +12V to power the more demanding setups of today. It won't have the full 24-pin connection either. The new TruePower II 550W is a much better choice. Lots of amps where it counts and exceeds spec.
