Attempted Scam

I thought this would be the best place to put two recent times I have been attempted to been scammed. The first was an email, second was ebay. Ofcourse I am not dumb, I didn't accept either of these offers. Sorry If i violated any rule of the forums, this is by no my attempt to scam someone but just showing you attempts on scamming me.

My name is Mr Godwin Goodman.I am the personal Account Manager to
Late Engr. Ali Habib , a citizen of Saudi Arabia who used to work with
Texaco Oil company at johannesburg, SouthAfrica. I am contacting you to
assist me in securing the money left behind by Late Engr Habib before
they get confiscated where this huge deposits were lodged,particularly our
bank where Late Engr Habib had an account valued at $85.5Million(eighty
five million united states dollars) US dollars, issued me a quick notice
today to provide the next of kin or have the account confiscated within
the next ten banking days.moreover Since I have been unsuccessful in locating
the relatives for over 2 years now,I seek your consent to present you as
his next of kin so that the proceeds of this account valued at ($85.5 Million
USdollars) will be paid out to you,and avoid being confisticated.
After the tranaction you will retain 30% of the total funds and hand
over the 70% to me in good faith.All I require is your honest cooperation
.I guarantee that this will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that
will protect us from any breach of the law.
