This is happening on all my boxen :(

[08:33:49] - Connecting to assignment server
[08:33:49] + No appropriate work server was available; will try again in a bit.
[08:33:49] + Couldn't get work instructions.
[08:33:49] - Attempt #22 to get work failed, and no other work to do.

Any Ideas? Is it just me or is everyone experiencing this?

 
GPU clients sitting idle, even a couple of classic clients can't get work. Something's really screwy at Stanford.

Yeah, brother/sister Cinzanos, it does seem like a "bad day at blackrock" for GPU2 folders. It's not even the weekend :rolleyes: Not a "fiddle my thumbs waiting" or a "patients infinite" type personallity I just stop the client and restart it, whether it works or not at least I'm doing something. (whether it's constructive or not is highly debatable :rolleyes:)

Whatever you do, just remember there are a lot of folders in the same boat ;)

Oh, must of missed that thread - thanks. Although it sucks my PPD is down to squat - I'm relieved to find out it isn't just me :)
 
Agreed i have 5 cclients and was starting to get freaked out none are working glad its not just me
 
gpu servers are working fine.. now its the cpu servers that are failing.. havnt had a cpu WU in almost 10 hours.. now
 
It's more the Collection Servers 2,3,4 and 5 which is now kaput.

 
yeah im starting to get sick of it.. just going to turn the gpu client off for the rest of the day and play some games.. no sense in leaving it running if only half my systems being used right now.. time to get some quake war action on.. :p
 
My GPU client crashes every couple minutes. Related?

Nevermind. I figured out the issue. Too bad 1.18 doesn't fix all the issues for me. Every time I start up the client, it just downloads a new project, some go south, others crank along.
