Attaching files to posts

I thought I recalled an option to attach a file to a post, but maybe it's gone, or maybe I'm mistaken.

I've written a nice guide on installing XP with a thumbdrive and SD card for an EEEPC that I think should apply to any PC. I've converted it to PDF, but my buddy let his hosting contract run out, so I can't host it. It's too long to post the content, and I've used very clean styling in Word.

Can you confirm that it's not possible to attach a file to a post?

Can you recommend somewhere to free host a PDF? Or does anyone want to volunteer?

Thanks...

David

I can host it on my friends site, he gave me approval and his site is fast.

EDIT: BTW [H]ardforum doesn't allow attachments.

Your ISP doesn't give you any hosting space at all? Most if not all ISPs these days offer up 10-20MB of "webspace" per email account (usually 5-10 emails allowed per customer account) so that gives most people plenty of space for hosting small files.

You can always drop it on RapidShare, Megaupload, etc, there's tons and tons of places that offer free hosting... I just can't believe your ISP doesn't offer anything at all, unless you're using some business connection or possibly a school, who knows.

My ISP doesn't offer anything beyond email service. I'm using TWC.

OP, just upload it to filefront or something.
