First of all, I didnt know if this is supposed to be in the Overclocking forum or the Video card forums so I'll place this in the Overclocking forum. Mods, if it belongs in the Video card forums please move it.

Okay, I'm using ATiTool (.19) to OC my video card, specs in sig. I've overclocked it to 360/670 from a stock 325/610. I have absolutely no artifacts or "errors", errors as in the label in the 3d view "No errors for xxx.xx seconds." I've ran it for about a half hour (went to Del Taco) at these settings without any "errors" or artifacts. I'm not sure what the "No errors for xxx.xx seconds." label is so heres my question.

If I bump up my core to lets say, 370 the numbers in the label keeps getting reset to 0.00, then goes to perhaps 20 and resets back down. Sometimes much more, sometimes less. I take it its having an error. Now, what the hell are these errors? Are they artifacts? I dont see no artifacts visually on the dice during the label being reset so I'm clueless. Can I OC farther?

Thanks, Randy

ATI Tool is precise enough to see an artifact when you can't actually see one.

If it resets to 0, then you have a problem (artifacts)

I've been out of the loop for ages, glad to hear about this tool. I'm gonna try it out.

Its def pretty cool. A+ program. Just needs more features, like a built in tweaker so people can what the registry tweaks do :D

personally... I like a program that is simple, and does nothing but allow clock speed changes. ... kinda like coolbits does for nvidia.

They need to make it a teddy bear holding a rocket launcher instead of a..furry...cube...thing hehe. Ok well maybe not a bear holding a rocket launcher, maybe a chick. Like a dawn wannabe or something. If you gotta stare at it, at least i do, then you may as well look at something besides fur.
