I am using ATI tool and at stock speeds it says im getting artifacts. Could there be something wrong with ATI tool? or is my card FUBAR. :(

9800 pro. When i play games/ benchmark at 400 core i for the life of me cannot see anything wrong such as artifacts. But when ATI tool tests it it says there are artifacts. i dont want to ruin my card but even at stock speeds it says there artifacts. I am also watercooling my gpu.

It's probably got artifacts in a single pipeline or something then.

My card's a 9500 softmodded to a 9700 and overclocked an assload.
There's only one game I see artifacts in....DooM 3's fog has green checkerboard. ATI's NPR rendering demo has some black specks, and their natural light demo with the glass orbs has some orange dots in the background. ATItool's 3d display shows what media player also shows when using overlays....black specks going diagonally all the way down the image window.

Other than that, it's perfect in games and stuff. Never see anything. Maybe yours is doing that too.

ATi tool isnt always accurate, if your not seeing any artifacts in games, i would say your ok, and try a different OCing tool
