ATitool: Find max core/mem clock?

I know that when you do this, it automatically sets the core/mem to close to the highest that the clocks can go without artifacts. But, does it take the temperature into consideration too?

It isn't going to overclock my card to a point where it is 100C right?
 
It will overclock till it detects artifacts, and most likely you will get artifacts before it reaches a really high temperature.
