Announced today at CES. I'm hoping that it might be compatible with my NP9262 which currently has an aging 8800m GTX.

Wondering what the prices would be as well. Last I checked the mobile nVidia 200 series are still selling in the 600s.
 
I like their decision here: rather than push performance, they quash power consumption. Since Nvidia has nothing competitive with the 4870 Mobile, let-alone the new 40nm parts, the small %25 performance booost and huge cut in power consumption are a good match.

They may however have to release a 5890 Mobile refresh part if Nvidia ever releases their high-end mobile 40nm parts.

This is relevant to mah interests! The 4870 mobile isn't out yet right? Any links to prototype benchmarks? And how would it compare with the gtx 260m?
 
was it me or was he basically just repeating three points over and over again?

disapointed with the low-end; 80 shaders is rubbish, i expected at least double that.
