Nice overclock, but totally irrelevant to 99.999999999999999999999999% of the population as we don't have liquid nitrogen to cool our parts to -80, and if we did, we'd likely just destroy the parts anyway. :rolleyes:

Wow thanks. The point of the overclock wasn't to show what the average Joe can achieve, but what the card itself is capable of.

Both the RAM and the core are at 1Ghz. According to Sampsa (representative of Team Murokapetti) the core seems to be perfectly stable so far at this speed, it is the RAM that is having trouble running at the synchronous speed. Staying tuned on the thread at XS will probably eventually show Sampsa benching at 1Ghz core and probably 900Mhz memory.

As others have pointed out, no benchies, just a suicide screenie. However, this is still quite an accomplishment, just like Fugger getting his 570J to 7.2GHz in the BIOS - the fact that this chip will even work long enough for a screenshot at 1GHz is good news for everyone. However, this is still an ATI specific matter.

If we see benchies, we will talk about how great it is. For now, we'll stick to having the pic and press release posted.
