ATI+Wow=Glitches & Sprites??

Please tell me I'm not the only one.

Ever since I upgraded to the latest drivers I've been having serious issues.

It looks like this kind of bull..

No over clocks, and no issue before the latest update. It seems to happen more frequently if I alt-tab out of the game, and alt-tab back in. Tried the omega driver, and no fix.

Went back to the ATI drivers and now the game locks up and crashes frequently. The CCC is even nice enough to tell me that I had a VPU failure...


Lame!

Your images don't work, I'm going to assume the site is blocked by my firewall as a security risk.

At this stage of the game, I find it hard to believe a driver update has caused the issues your describing. Sounds like something has failed on your videocard. I've had 9700PRO's do that.

RMA time.

Before that though, I'd uninstall your drivers, clean free all drivers using driver cleaner, and install the previous version that worked well before. If it works then, then maybe it was the driver.

But I suspect it's just a coincidental occurrence that your video card died at the same time as a driver update.

Your image comes through fine on my end..If I were you, I'd run driver cleaner then install an older driver to see if that fixes your issues.

On the VPU failure, the alternative would likely have been a blue screen, and you would have lost any unsaved data. The VPU feature is pretty nice when/if you are having GPU issues.

When was the last time you cleaned out your computer?

Those are the artifacts I get from overclocking too much and/or heat. May want to check temperatures even if you aren't overclocking.

I have other issues with the latest drivers, this looks like overheating tho ...
