ATI warranties?

I have been looking at BFG and EVGA for a long time and love their lifetime warranties. I'm currently waiting for the R600 though and don't know much about ATI manufacturers. Do they have good warranties too? What is the ATI equivalent of BFG?

lol, maybe powercolor? I don't think any ATI manufacturers actually have full life time warantees. It's really crap, but w/e.

Once again:

Sure they offer a low warranty, but that's because nobody (almost nobody) NEEDS to use it like the countless number of nVidia cards biting the dust every day. Having a "double life time warranty" DOES NOT give them the excuse to sell you a card that will break and cause you to waste your time sending it back!

ahh, yeah i have to agree with you on that. Been through 4 ATI cards, 9600XT, 9700 Pro, X1800XT, X1900XT. I bought it once, and that "one" card lasts. I had to RMA a 7800GT. -_-

I'm not sure I believe that all ATi cards are just made better then Nvidia, but whatever. What are the best brands. I know BFG and EVGA make good cards for Nvidia. Which card maker for ATi has a great reputation like BFG? Sapphire?

Visiontek has a Limited Lifetime Replacement Warranty. Whatever that means

I like Sapphire but IIRC, on their high end cards, they are ALL made by ATi and then the different brands like powercolor etc... put stickers on them.

BBA warranty sucks BIG time,

only 1 year , you have to register within few days after the purchase and you need the receipt ,

just horrible,
