ATI video card settings when running 3dmark05

Hey was wondering does everyone use performance, balanced, or quality settings for an ATI video card (catalyst) when running the 3dmark05 benchmark.. i'm assuming performance to get the highest score right?

Yeah, you run performance mode when you run any benchmark on any card.

How much of a difference does it make in the scores? I have always run mine on "balanced"

Yes and I'm also wondering how much of "image quality" is sacrificed when running in performance mode, should you use it for games too?

I can't tell any difference, so the impact is very minimal.
