switched from a leadtek geforce ti4200 to a sapphire radeon 9800 pro and noticed a huge drop of image quality on my tv.
before it was more sharp, crisp, saturated AND i have diagonal stripes floating over the image.

any advice how to optimize tv-out quality with radeon cards ?
especially the the diagonal stripes get very annoying,
if i choose NTSC instead of PAL i can change the direction of those stripes =) the source of the problem should be the tv-chip within the radeon because everything worked fine before ...

I have the ATI tv wonder and the TV absolutely sucks. I tried using Chris Tv and Dscaler...None increased the image quality. I think you are pretty much SOL. I messed around with the cables switching them and that seemed to increase the quality a tad bit. Good Luck
