Ati tray tools reporting wrong temps?

I have an asus x800 xt pe. My ati tray tools is reporting 42 deg C at idle but my Cat Control Center is reporting 35 deg C? Anyone know how to explain this?
 
There's only one way to know this.
Ati tool.
My guess would be that 35 is your ram/environment and 42 your core.
