I was playing Chronicals Of Riddick and had ATI Tool fan speed set @ 15% above 0 and 54% above 49c, and 65 above 69c/ All has been fine for two weeks but as i was playing the game i took my headphones off and noticed it was very quiet - so i brought up ati tool and it was 97c  - so i instantly ramped the fan to 100% and that got it quickly back to around 40c (while off the game) but i'm really wondering if anyone else has had issues with ati tool "resetting" fan speeds because it in fact did just that. When i first set up ati tool i always carefully listen to the fan and monitor the temps to make sure it's working right - as i did in this case and i didn't mess with it at all - it did this on it's own...anyone else have this issue?

I use ATITool exclusively for the fan control, and I have never had an issue, is it possible that you forgot to press the apply button after making the changes?

Thanks, yeah it is because i recently changed the fan ramp up speed. I'll redo it and see how it goes. How do you have yours set up by the way?
