ATI Tool freezing my computer

I have a x850pro, currently running x850pro clocks with 16 pipes. (500/500) with Artic Cooling silencer (so cooling is good with good case circulation)
When ever I open the 3d view on ATI Tool it runs for a while smooth, then freezes, then my primary monitor gets all these weird colors on it, my secondary shuts off. Then they both go away like they are asleep. I have to hit the reset to reboot.
It did this on 5.9 and 5.10 cats
Also last night I tried to run 3dmark05 it froze up on the greenlight in the forest scene.

the most likely thing is that ur card is too hot...or its unstable at those speeds :(

Those are stock speeds. It did it at both 12 and 16 pipes.

I am running an aftermarket cooler with stock speeds :|
