ATI Tool find max core help!!!

when i do find max core/memory, the value goes down, it doesnt go up. is my card messed up? i dunno what the deal is...
 
i havent seen it yet, but 15 seconds into 3dmark03 i see artifacts. it didnt used to do this. its a sapphire 9800 pro from newegg. maybe ill have to rma it, it shouldnt do this. is newegg good with rmas?
 
i fixed it, i have an arctic cooler and it was lose and didnt have 100% contact to the core chip. so tightened it and fixed. thanks though guys...
 
wow, that happened on another guy's 6800 card just a little while ago...
