I have a bit of an unexpected Snafu here.

I took apart the Shore computer as i have mentioned in other threads, and salvaged the more useable parts. But I completley forgot my graphics card is about 7 years old, and is an ATI AIW 9600 XT. My new Micro ATX Motherboard has no AGP slots, so I have to get a new card.

Question. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102069 I was thinking of getting this one for it's HDMI port. If I use the DVI connection for my monitor, and hook up my HDMI connection to my Digital Set Top DVR, how would I be able to see the picture the HDMI connection brings to the card?
