I've RMA'd my X800XT AIW, and it's coming up on about a month now that they've had my card. I'm sitting here waiting and checking the status everyday to see if they've updated the ship date. Man I miss my card :( Just wondering for you folks out there that have done Rma's through ATI about how long does it take? Should I contact ATi to see what's the deal?

id contact them. ive RMA'ed one card and it took a week. check it out

mmm I deff say hit them up and find out whats goin on.. my card took only 2 weeks to get back..

Was there any confirmation that they've received the card at all?

Yeah the recieved date is stated 1/11/06. I'll give them an email or call tomorrow morning then.

They recieved my AIW X800XT on 1-26. That's all the RMA form shows. I purchased another card before I sent it in and the TV tuner has quit working on the second card (same prob on first card). I am taking this card back to CompUSA tomorrow and I'll be gettung an nVidia based card this time. No more ATI cards will be purchased by me again. The first card quit in an Asus mobo and the current card quit on an MSI board. I just did a fresh install of WinXP and all drivers, still no go. ATI has lost my business as of today.

I'm sorry to hear that :( I saw you recent X800XT AIW troubles too. Man mine has video distrotion when booted on desktop. But the loading screen is ok like BIOS and stuff. After windows boot its all distorted. Just suddenly happened one day. I wish they'd hurry up!

Mine won't find any channels. It worked last week but last night it wouldn't work. No problems reported in the Device Manager either. I'll pick up an nVidia card tomorrow and look for a seperate TV tuner card.

They had an answering machine type deally when I called them for the status. Apparently reps aren't working today or what!?

I exchanged the card for another one and this one works. It looked like somone had volt modded the card I took back. I wouldn't be surprised if they were to shrink wrap it and put it back on the shelf. The took a photo copy of the reciept and sent me out the door. They didn't ask for a name or phone number. I did tell them the TV tuner didn't work. I saw a 7800 GS OC on the shelf but I resisted the temptation. :D

Rejoice! After submitting 2 tickets to them I guess I've caught their attention and shipped it out today!

Glad I found this thread, my workmate gave me a AIW 9800 PRO saying it was "funny"
It's actually roadkill but he wouldn't accept it back, sooo I just filled in the info on the ATI page to be cheeky. It accepted all the part numbers and serial numbers and told me to wait for a RMA form.

Hmmmm I am not holding my breath but curious to see how this pans out :)

They sent it overnight shipping. I just tracked it using the reference # it should be here today. I was a little concerned after seeing this though:

I called the Fedex Rep though, they said it was just a misscan. And should be on it's way. Great!

Freaking awesome you're gonna get yourself a new working Videocard! Great for an HTPC setup.

Hey you read my mind! :D
I should first wait and see if this RMA happens first though. Am I right in thinking that if they ask you to wait for a form, you are pretty much set?

I'm still waiting to hear from ATI. I called and got put on hold for 22 minutes, then the recording said they couldn't take my call and it hung up. I sent an email and it has gone unanswered.

Well this is odd, I got the mail back from ATI saying that they can't find my card.
I input the P/N 102******** into the system and it finds it in the system as a AIW 9800 PRO 128.

I am kind of stuck here as I am not sure who built this card, any way of identifying the partner?

They have my x1800xl as of 2/8 ~ we'll see when I get a response.

Got an email this afternoon stating its headed back to me, overnight.

My AIW X800XT arrived at ATI 1/26. Today I got the email saying it was over-nighted and I'll have it back tomorrow. Tech support told me that if it took longer than 10 business days, they would upgrade to the next higher card as a replacement. Unfortunately the AIW X800XT AGP has no better AGP replacement. They said I should get an AIW X850XT AGP but I don't think there is such a critter.
