im currently running a very noob radeon 9500 pro 128 mb and im woundering about OC it any ideas on what the core and mem should be? im using omega drivers running: comp specs are followed
 
experiment & find out........I've got my Tyan G9500pro slightly oc'd at 320 core 580mem; never did try to see where it maxed out though, maybe just before I install the x800pro vivo :)
 
use atitool and find out the max, but your gona have to wait 8hrs+ for the result, if you want it to be faster set the clocks higher by 5 and use the artifact test thing, and if theres no artifact detected raise it another 5 and repeat the same thing
 
should i use atitool or power strip? i always run power strip so it kinda makes sience 2 use that doesnt it?
 
9500 pro's are nearly impossible to oc...My FIC 9500 pro wouldn't do anything above stock...as good of a card as it is (having it's full 8 pipelines, not being crippled like the 9600 pro and xt with only 4), overclock the FSB on your CPU and you'll notice a healthy increase in gaming performance.
 
I had one for awhile. I was never able to overclock it, it has some sort of lock. I wasn't going to go as far as flashing it as it just wasn't worth it. Good luck with yours.
