I read the other day that the R600 has tapped out. Thats not what I am actually posting about. I can't find the article but I will look some more.
The thing that struck myself was the article said it tapped out at 65nm. The fab maker wasn't given . I don't believe that ATI's normal fab has 65nm in place so who tapped the R600 out.

I think this is closer to being correct . but who can really say. I have been told the only part that will be 80nm will be the memory controller.
