ATI Problem.

Notebook drivers are supposed to be proprietary to the manufacturer (it has do to do with the monitor). So basically whatever ibuypower has listed as the latest are the most recent you can install.

However, there is a program you can install to use the latest drivers from ATi's site. I don't remember the programs name off the top of my head though.
 
You can usually find some modified drivers that will work on notebooks. I am currently running some modified 70.41 quadro drivers or something on my laptop with a geforce 4200go and it works great. Try a google search maybe for "modified drivers, 9700 mobility" or something, or maybe post in the mobile computing section. I believe that is where I was pointed to the modified drivers I am using now.

I had to resort to modified drivers because dell hasn't released an updated driver in 2 years and the drivers they do have do not work with HL2 and many other DX9 games. :rolleyes: I should just say my laptop is broken and force them to give me updated drivers or a new laptop since it is still under warranty for another year.
