I've searched around, and I have kind of got the impression, but no outright answer if I'm able to have a primary ATi card for graphics and an Nvidia card for physics. Clarification please.
 
You'll have to use a hacked driver. The problem with that is that when Nvidia updates it video driver and Physx software, there's a chance it'll stop working. But the author is good about getting a new one out quick.
 
nVidia forgot to put the vendor lock into the 257.15 beta driver so you don't have to use a hacked driver just use that one for your secondary nVidia card. Otherwise check physxinfo.com for the hacked driver.
