A couple of months back there was all this news about a new standard for removeable vidio cards for laptops!

Did anything come of it?

yeah it rusn on the PCIe bus, should be showing up retail around xmas time. the nvidia version is MXM and i cant remember the ati one, lol
 
So it is coming, I have been waiting seeing what would come of it.
