every since i downloaded the new drivers so it an unlock my 9200, i see that the agp is off in smartgart, ive tried switching it to 4x and 8x but its still going to off after i restart the comp. whats going on?

Disable "Ati Smart" service and check if agp is back to enabled, if its still disabled, then its a problem with old settings screwing your registry :(

Dont forget to reinstall your chipset drivers "just in case..." :D

how can i disable the ati smart service?

I dont have an ATI card to test it on, but I think he means that it's a Windows service. Easiest way to turn one of those off is to hit Start > Run > msconfig

Hit the services tab, find ATI Smart in the list, uncheck, apply, OK, reboot.

aight, i tried turning off ati smart but the agp setting is still on off, the card works(dont know if its working normal though) but i just think its kinda weird because its on off instead of 4x or 8x
