My card has been having 'overheating' problems. One of the major things was 'wierd' lines/dots that seem to appear over an hour of gaming. I have taken the card apart with my friend and examined to see if the ventilation was ok, and added some Blue Silver to increase coolness. When we put it back together it hasn't been acting up just by turning it on. So, what I've come to conclude the card still might be good, but the fan might be not that powerful anymore. As I can web browse ect. now, but when I run any kind of games after say an hour it acts up again. I also took notice that the heat isn't directly over the card itself but over the fan/heatsink. Also, the cards' fan is almost nearly shot(Sometimes doesn't even wanna start).

So here's my question, To save the card I've been thinking about replacing the fan, hoping that the card doesn't have any major problems already, any second oppinions to see if that fixes the problem? Also, I will provide pictures later as I can't seem to find the fan that I need approx. less than 40mm fan and quite thin, I have a notebook...
Also for more information as to the type of fan that I would need, I'm running an Alienware Notebook, if that's of importance as to the brand of fan I'd need to get. So anyone know of any sites to get smaller fans? I'll have pictures up in a couple days.

Thanks.
